I John

1st John 1

1Thank You that John wrote about that which was from the beginning, that which he had heard, that which he had seen with his eyes, that which he had looked upon, and his hands touched, concerning Your Word of life.

2Thank You that the life was revealed, and having seen it, John testified and declares to me the life, the eternal life, which was with Your Father, and is being revealed to me. 3Thank You for that which John had seen and heard and that he declared it to me, that I also may have fellowship with You.

Yes, I thank You that my fellowship is with Your Father, and with You, His Son, Jesus Christ. 4And I thank You that John wrote these things to me, that my joy may be fulfilled.

5Thank You for this message which John heard from You and announced to me, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

6Thank You for telling me that if I say that I have fellowship with You and walk in the darkness, I lie, and do not tell the truth. 7Thank You though that if I walk in the light, as You are in the light, I have fellowship with another believers, and Your blood, Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses me from all sin.

8Thank You for also telling me that if I say that I have no sin, I deceive myself, and the truth is not in me. 9I am thankful that if I confess my sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive me my sins, and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

10Thank You that I admit that I have sinned, that I do not make You a liar, and that Your word is in me.

1st John 2

1As one of John’s little children, I thank You that John wrote these things to me also so that I may not sin. I am so grateful to know that if I sin, I have a Counselor with the Father, which is You, Jesus Christ, the righteous. 2Thank You that You are the atoning sacrifice for my sins, and not for mine only, but also for the whole world.

3Thank You that I can know that I know You: if I keep Your commandments  4and if I say that I know You but do not keep Your commandments,  thank You that I then can know that I am a liar, and the truth is not in me.

5I am thankful that whoever keeps Your word, God’s love has most certainly been perfected in him. Thank You that I can know that I am in You. 6Thank You for instructing me if I say that I remain in You, I ought myself also to walk just like You walked.

7Jesus, thank You that John wrote no new commandment to me, but an old commandment which I had from the beginning and that the old commandment is the word which I heard from the beginning.

8Again, thank You that John wrote a new commandment to me, which is true in You and in me; because the darkness is passing away, and the true light already shines.

9Thanks for making it very clear that anyone who says he is in the light and hates his brother, is in the darkness even until now.

10Thank You that anyone who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him.

11Thanks again for making it so plain to me that anyone who hates his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blindfolded his eyes.

12Thank You that John wrote to little children, because their sins are forgiven them for Your name’s sake.

13 Thank You that John wrote to fathers, because they know You Who are from the beginning.

Thank You that John wrote to young men, because they have overcome the evil one.

Thank You that John wrote to little children, because they know the Father.

14Thank You that John wrote to fathers, because they know You Who are from the beginning.

Thank You that John wrote to young men, because they are strong, and the word of God remains in them, and they have overcome the evil one.

15Thank You that I do not love the world, neither the things that are in the world. Thank You that I know that if anyone loves the world, the Father’s love is not in him.

16Thank You for revealing to me that all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not the Father’s, but is the world’s. 17I am thankful for the comfort of knowing that this world is passing away with its lusts, but that I do God’s will and will remain forever.

18As one of John’s little children, I appreciate knowing that these are the end times, and as I heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen. Thank You that I can know that it is the final hour.

19Thank You for helping me to understand that some went out from us, but they did not belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us.

20Thank You that I have an anointing from You, the Holy One, and I have knowledge.

21I am grateful that John did write to Christians including me, not because I do not know the truth, but because I know it, and because my eyes are clear enough to discern a lie when I come across it.

22Thank You for telling me that the liar is the one who denies that You,  Jesus, are the Christ. I am grateful to know that the Antichrist is the one who denies the Father and You, the Son, 23and that whoever denies You, the Son, the same does not have the Father. I am thankful that anyone who confesses You, the Son, has the Father also.

24Therefore, as for me, I thank You for that which remains in me which I heard from the beginning. Thank You for that which I heard from the beginning and remains in me. Thank You that I also will remain in You, the Son, and in the Father.

25Thank You for this promise which You promised me, the eternal life.

26 Thank You that John wrote to me concerning those who would lead me astray.

27Thank You that the anointing which I received from You remains in me, and that I do not need for anyone to teach me. Thank You that, as Your anointing teaches me concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught me, I will remain in You.

28Now, as one of John’s little children, I thank You that I remain in You, and that when You appear, I will have boldness, and not be ashamed before You at You coming. 29I am thankful to know that You are righteous, and to know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of You.

1st John 3

1Behold, I am thankful for how great a love the Father has bestowed on me, that I should be called a child of God! For this reason I thank You for the understanding that the world does not know me, because it did not know You.

2Beloved Jesus, thank You that I am now a child of God, and that it is not yet revealed what I will be. Thank You that I know that, when You are revealed, I will be like You; for I will see You just as You are.

3Thank You that everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as You are pure.

4Thank You for revealing that everyone who sins also commits lawlessness and that sin is lawlessness. 5I am glad to know that You were revealed to take away my sins, and that no sin is in You.

6Thank You also for revealing that whoever remains in You does not continue sinning, and that whoever habitually sins has not seen You, neither knows You.

7As one of John’s little children, I thank You that no one will lead me astray. I am thankful that as I do righteousness I am righteous, even as You are righteous.

8I appreciate knowing that anyone who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. Thank You that to this end You, the Son of God, were revealed, that You might destroy the works of the devil.

9I am grateful that whoever is born of God does not commit sin, because God’s seed remains in him; and he can not sin, because he is born of God. 10Thank You that in this way both the children of God, and the children of the devil are revealed. I am reassured to know that whoever does not do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who does not love his brother.

11Thank You for this message which I heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; 12unlike Cain, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Thank You that I know that Cain killed him because his works were evil, and his brother Abel’s works were righteous.

13Thank You that I will not be surprised, Jesus, if the world hates me.

14Thank You that I know that I have passed out of death into life, because I love my Christian siblings. Thank You for reminding me that anyone who does not love his brother remains in death, and that 15whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and also that I know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.

16Thank You that by this I know love, because You laid down Your life for me and that I ought to lay down my life for my Christian siblings.

17Thank You that I am not one who has the world’s goods, and sees my sibling in need, and closes my heart of compassion against him. Thank You that the love of God remains in me.

18As one of John’s little children, thank You that I do not love in word only, neither only with my tongue, but in deed and truth.

19Thank You that by this I can know that I am of the truth, and can reassure my heart before You. 20Thank You that if my heart condemns me, Your Father God is greater than my heart, and knows everything. 21Beloved Jesus, if my hearts does not condemn me, thank You that I have boldness toward God.

22Thank You that whatever I ask, I receive from You, because I keep Your commandments and do the things that are pleasing in Your sight. 23 Jesus Christ, thank You for this commandment, that I should believe in Your name, O Son of God, and love others, even as You commanded.

24Thank You that I keep Your commandments and remain in You, and You remain in me. Thank You that I know that You remain in me, by Your Spirit which You gave me.

1st John 4

1Thank You, Jesus, that I do not have to believe every spirit, but that I can test the spirits, to see whether they are of You or not, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

2Thank You that by this I can know the Spirit of God: that every spirit who confesses that You, Jesus Christ, have come in the flesh is of God, 3and that every spirit who does not confess that You have come in the flesh is not of God, and that this is the spirit of the Antichrist, of whom I have heard that it is coming and now already is in the world.

4As one of John’s little children, I am thankful to be of God, and to have already defeated this spirit. I am also thankful because greater are You Who are in me than he who is in the world.

5Although, they are of the world and therefore speak of the world, and the world hears them, 6thank You that I am of God. Thank You that anyone who knows God listens to me and anyone who is not of God does not listen to me. Thank You that by this I can know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

7Jesus, thank You for helping me love my Christian siblings. Thank You that love is of God and that everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God.

8I am grateful to know that anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9I appreciate that by this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent You, His one and only Son, into the world that I might live through You. 10Thank You that this is love, not that I loved God, but that He loved me, and sent You, His Son, as the atoning sacrifice for my sins.

11Jesus, as God loved me in this way, thank You also for helping me to love others. 12Although, no one has seen God at any time, as I love others, God remains in me, and His love grows in me toward perfection.

13By this I am grateful to know that I remain in You and You in me, because You have given me of Your Spirit.

14Thank You that John saw and testified that Your Father has sent You, His Son, as the Savior of the world. 15Thank You that as I confess that You, Jesus, are the Son of God, God remains in me, and I in God.

16Thank You that I know and have believed the love which God has for me. I am so thankful that God is love, and that as I remain in love I remain in God, and God remains in me.

17Thank You that this love has been made complete for me, that I may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as You are, even so am I in this world. 18Thank You that there is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. Thank You that I do not fear and am made perfect in love.

19I love You, because I am thankful that You first loved me. 20Thank You that I am not a person who says, “I love God,” and hates my sibling. Thank You that I am not a liar. Thank You that I love my siblings whom I have seen, thus giving me opportunity to love God Whom I have not seen. 21Thank You for the commandment I have from You, that anyone who loves God should also love his Christian siblings.

1st John 5

1Thank You for reassuring me that whoever believes that You are the Christ is born of God and whoever loves the Father also loves the Child Who is born of Him.

2Thank You that I can know that I love the children of God, by loving God and keep His commandments. 3I am thankful that the love of God is that I keep His commandments. I appreciate that His commandments are not grievous.

4Thank You that whatever is born of God overcomes the world. Thank You that my faith is the victory that has overcome the world. 5Thank You that I am one who overcomes the world because I believe that You, Jesus, are the Son of God. 6You are He who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood.

I am grateful that it is the Spirit Who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7Thank You that there are three who testify: 8the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and that the three agree as one.

9If I receive the witness of people, thank You that the witness of God is greater; for this is God’s testimony which He has testified concerning You, His Son. 10Thank You that anyone who believes in You, the Son of God, has the testimony in himself and anyone who does not believe, God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning You, His Son.

11Thank You for this testimony, that God gave to me eternal life, and this life is in You, His Son. 12I have You, the Son, and I have life. Anyone who does not have You, God’s Son, does not have life.13Thank You that John wrote these things to me as a believer in Your name, O Son of God, that I may know that I have eternal life, and that I may continue to believe in Your name, O Son of God.

14Thank You for the boldness which I have toward You, that, if I ask anything according to Your will, You listen to me. 15And if I know that You listen to me, whatever I ask, I know that I have the petitions which I have asked of You.

16Thank You that if I see my brother sinning a sin not leading to death, I shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. I am thankful to learn that there is such a thing as a mortal sin. I do not say that I should make a request concerning this.

17I agree that all unrighteousness is sin, however I am grateful that there is a sin that is not mortal. 18Thank You that I know that whoever is born of God is not a sinner, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one does not touch him.

19Thank You that I know that I am of God, although the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 20Thank You that I know that You, the Son of God, have come, and have given me an understanding, that I know that You are true. I am thankful to be in God, Who is true, and in You, His Son Jesus Christ. Thank You that I know the true God, and eternal life.

21Thank You that as one of John’s little children, I will keep myself from idols.
